Globe |
A not so bright ideaI was bored one day, reading a really inspiring technical manual. Just as I was about to fall asleep, my desk lamp globe went out with a bang. On inspection of the storeroom, I found that I was down to my last light globe for my lamp. Not a problem I thought! Just put it in the matter replicator that I found last week and hey-presto! I would have lots of them. The replicator does not have any understandable controls, as it is all in some weird alien language. I had not changed the settings since I found it, and had figured out what was apparently the 'start' button. Six successful new light globes later I got bold. I got daring. I got really really stupid. I screwed around with the settings. Two days later, I have cleaned up most of the mess, and my left hand is now back to having five fingers. The item above would be one of the more interesting results, the other ton of broken glass and twisted metal was not that thrilling. Next time I ponder 'what does this button do?' I will think again... Art work constructed from found objects, mainly light globes. Only works on 240v. |

What is it called when two people come up with the same idea independently? There is a term for that... It’s cool someone else had the same idea! (couldn’t seem to get that link to work, site might be down? – I will look him up on Google...) Enjoy!
