Killer Robot

A life size upper-torso of a MARK-13 robot, held in a Stasis Capsule.
The robot has sustained heavy damage, but is still lethal. Equipped with a self-repair system, it was built in the year 2367 to fight in hostile climates off world.

In 2374 a small troop or MARK-13's liberated the planet Dakar Minor from the Slithic rebels. During the celebrations unfortunately, the robots went on to kill the King of Dakar Minor, and then followed through by slaughtering half the population.
Production of the MARK-13 was discontinued the year after due to problems with their 'friend or foe' recognition system. The MARK-13 design team was found two weeks later, dismembered with Dakarian religious daggers.

Held in a fully functional Stasis Capsule it is frozen in time. The Stasis Capsule, manufactured by InfiniCorp, bombards the contents with tachyon particles. Tachyon particles travel faster than light, and therefore backward through time. In a high enough concentration, they will push the contents of the capsule backward through time also. The field is activated every second for half a second, causing the contents to 'bounce' in time, trapped in an everlasting second.

Art work constructed from found objects, wood, glass etc. Complete with flashing lights, currently a lounge-room table in my home.
Height = 53 cm (20.9 Inches)
Width = 64 cm (25.2 Inches)
Length = 127 cm (50 Inches)

I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.

Blaster

blaster gun laser plasma pistol - Sci-fi Art SculptureFreeze sucker!

Weapon of choice for nine out of ten space travellers, is the Plasma Blaster pistol.

In the 20th century science fiction always talked about the laser gun. Probably why a laser based gun and other weapons were the first developed. They did however have a serious drawback...
