Anyone home?

Constructed for a commission, the brief was 'TELSTRA provides the tools for farmers'.
Telstra is one of the main Australian phone network providers.

Not long after the advertising agency had finished the photo shoot, this went 'missing' from the Art Directors office. The police were called in and it mysteriously appeared again the next day - no questions asked. I feel quite honoured that someone would go to that much trouble and risk to steal one of my art works!

The sculptures were photographed and used in print advertisements, brochures and point of sale displays in rural areas of Australia.

You can view the posters and brochures for the commission artwork project here

Art work made from found objects, mainly tools. Spade, shears, saw blades, socket sets, pliers, mouse trap, spanners, cogs, wood, nuts and bolts, wire and metal.
Height = 20 cm (8 Inches)
Width = 30 cm (12 Inches)
Length = 36 cm (14.5 Inches)
