Muse - Sci-fi music video out of this world

Written by Martin Dolan

Muse - Sing for Absolution Sci-Fi Music VideoMuse - Sci-fi music video is out of this world

Sci-fi and music videos can be a lame tacky experience ...but not where Muse is concerned.

Sing for Absolution is one of my favorites.

I have heard Muse get a lot of air time on Triple J - the national radio station in Australia, and loved it.  Muse has epic songs, reminiscent of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, and in more recent times, the music of RadioHead.

It's the sort of music that slowly builds to a full on aural experience. Top it all of with a crackin' Sci-fi Music video, and I am sold.

Watch Sing for Absolution here:

Frikkin epic eh?

...and some nice references to sci-fi classics like 2001 A Space Odyssey,  Pitch Black and Planet of the Apes

Now go out and support Muse, buy their music!

You can find the official Muse website here

Do you have a favorite Muse song?

Hey - this is mad ! Cool

Did you feel like this too? An experience that's kinda a cross between the magnificently encompassing hallowed sounds of an opera hall with full orchestra in attendance, the silent introspect spiritual reverence of a grand cathedral, the awed shrinking one feels at the emptiness and vastity of space, the intellectual warp of science fiction and what may be, coupled with the contracting shrinking focusing of all that into the one tiny speck of light and humanity that is our soul. WOW... Geek

Thanks for sharing Marty!

I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.

A mozzie born out of technology gone feral.
This is another not so little critter born from a science experiment gone wrong on Enna Prime. A batch of artificial intelligence chips prematurely activated in a lab, and fused with a nano technology experiment. The chips and nano’s formed the first thing they saw...
