Watch: Adidas Star Wars cantina FIFA commercial with David Beckham Adidas Star Wars Cantina ad - Lightsaber Cut Above the Rest

Adidas have re-edited the classic Star Wars cantina scene to now feature a few new players - David Beckham, Daft Punk, Snoop Dogg, Oasis' Noel Gallagher and friends as they gather for the FIFA World Cup.

This is part of the Adidas Originals series of commercials, and honestly, it brings something to Star Wars that George Lucas' obsessive compulsive enhancing and re-releasing has not.

You will not hear a Daft Punk version of that catchy cantina tune, however as Snoop Dogg says, "step up" and check it out....

 

Now can Daft Punk re-mix the Star Wars cantina band please?
