Doctor Who Dalek Halloween Pumpkin

Written by Martin Dolan

Doctor Who Dalek Pumpkin - Halloween - NightDoctor Who Dalek Halloween Pumpkin

I am sure this Dalek Halloween Pumpkin will exterminate! all annoying trick-or-treaters, or any other thing that goes bump in the night this Halloween.

The amazing Pumpkin was carved out by Julian from Pennsylvania, who spent over 7 hours making this sci-fi artwork.

How awesome is that?!??!!!

And here is a daytime photo which really shows of the fantastic detail of the Dalek pumpkin sci-fi sculpture.

Just happened across this today, and having battled the Daleks all my life, I recognised it right away. Seriously, though - great job! Amazing level of detail, especially considering you were working with a simple pumpkin!

Brilliant! Love the design, bravo Julian!
(Although the machine capsules must have costed you a fortune Wink )

I'm really pleased by how much everyone likes this thing. I'm the Julian from the description, by the way. If anyone is curious, the bumps are 50 cent machine capsules, the suction cup is half a racquetball, the arms and eyestalk are brake line, the eye is an Easter egg with foam bits around the outside and an LED inside, and the ears/antennae are make-your-own-popsicle freezer containers. Thanks for all the nice comments!

A mozzie born out of technology gone feral.
This is another not so little critter born from a science experiment gone wrong on Enna Prime. A batch of artificial intelligence chips prematurely activated in a lab, and fused with a nano technology experiment. The chips and nano’s formed the first thing they saw...
